After you have completed the steps on the Immigrant Visa Process on usvisas.state.gov, including paying the necessary fees, and submitting the required immigrant visa application form (DS-260), Affidavit of Support, and supporting documents to the National Visa Center (NVC), they will review your file for completeness. Once your case becomes qualified for an interview, NVC will work with us to schedule an interview appointment for you.

You must bring the following documents with you to the interview:

1. Appointment Letter received from the NVC
2. Passport(s) valid for six months beyond the intended date of entry into the United States
3. Police Certificate(s) of any countries where you stayed for at least 6 months (For anyone over 16)
4. Birth Certificate(s)
5. Court and prison records, if applicable
6. Military records, if applicable
7. Color photographs
8. Marriage Certificate, if applicable
9. Divorce decree or death certificate of spouse, if applicable
10. Medical Reports in an unopened, sealed envelope, unless the doctor sends it directly to the Embassy
11. Evidence of financial support (I-864 Affidavit of Support, a notarized offer of employment)
12. Employment-based cases: A currently valid letter from the prospective employer confirming the essential elements of the job offer

Submission of fake documents or misrepresentation of facts in any way could render you permanently ineligible for an immigrant visa to the United States of America.

Applicants should not purchase an airline ticket until they have the visa in hand.
