The Embassies of Germany, the United States, France, the Netherlands and the European Union delegation regret acts of violence observed on the margins of the electoral process.
We express our solidarity with the victims.
We call for an end to violence and for a return to calm, and express our desire that the election take place in a free, peaceful, and transparent manner.
We also call on all political actors to promote dialogue and gestures of goodwill.
